1. Our Commitment
Slip is committed to maintaining a safer adult dating environment and preventing the sexual exploitation, abuse, grooming, solicitation, or endangerment of minors. We maintain these Child Safety Standards to support user safety, Google Play compliance, and responsible platform governance.
These standards apply to all users, profiles, messages, reports, support requests, subscription users, and any other activity connected to Slip.
2. Adult-Only Service
Minors are not allowed on Slip. Users must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in their jurisdiction, whichever is higher.
Slip uses the Google age verification framework and third-party age verification services. We may restrict, suspend, or delete accounts that fail verification, appear to be used by minors, involve minors in profiles or messages, or create child safety concerns.
3. Zero-Tolerance Policy
Slip prohibits and has zero tolerance for:
- Child sexual abuse material or any content that depicts, promotes, requests, trades, distributes, or sexualizes minors.
- Grooming, sexual solicitation of minors, age-play involving minors, coercion, trafficking, sextortion, blackmail, or attempts to move a minor to another platform.
- Any profile, avatar, photo, nickname, message, or conduct suggesting a user is underage or seeking contact with minors.
- Sharing links, codes, invitations, or instructions that facilitate child exploitation or illegal sexual content.
- Jokes, coded language, roleplay, or indirect references that normalize, trivialize, or encourage child exploitation.
4. How to Report Child Safety Concerns
Users can report suspected child safety violations through in-app reporting tools where available or by emailing [email protected]. Reports should include the username, profile details, message details, screenshots if lawful and safe to provide, and a short description of the concern.
If there is an immediate threat to a child or another person, contact local emergency services or law enforcement first.
5. Review Timeline and Triage
We aim to review child safety reports within 24 hours. High-risk reports may be prioritized sooner. Our review may involve user reports, account data, profile information, messages, age verification signals, device and location signals, moderation history, and other relevant evidence.
We may preserve relevant information for investigation, reporting, legal compliance, and prevention of repeat abuse.
6. Enforcement Actions
Depending on the risk and evidence, we may take one or more of the following actions:
- Remove or restrict content.
- Require age verification or additional review.
- Suspend or permanently ban accounts.
- Block devices, payment access, or account creation attempts.
- Preserve records connected to suspected abuse.
- Report suspected child sexual abuse material or child exploitation to NCMEC, law enforcement, or other competent authorities.
7. Cooperation With Authorities
Where required or appropriate, Slip may report suspected child sexual abuse material, grooming, exploitation, or immediate safety threats to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children, law enforcement, regulators, or other competent authorities. We may also respond to lawful requests for information.
We do not notify a user before taking action or making a report if doing so could increase risk, interfere with an investigation, violate law, or compromise safety.
8. User Responsibilities
- Do not create an account if you are under 18 or under the age of majority in your jurisdiction.
- Do not include minors in profile photos, avatars, messages, or sexualized context.
- Do not ask other users for content involving minors.
- Do not move suspicious conversations off Slip to avoid moderation or reporting.
- Report suspected child safety concerns immediately.
9. Updates to These Standards
We may update these Child Safety Standards as our safety practices, legal requirements, platform policies, or product features change. The latest version will be posted on this page.
