Rules for using Slip

These Terms govern your access to and use of Slip, including accounts, profiles, matching, private messages, dating features, safety tools, and paid VIP subscriptions.

1. Acceptance of These Terms

These Terms of Service are a legal agreement between you and Zyphorora Ltd, a United Kingdom company. By downloading, accessing, creating an account, purchasing a subscription, or using Slip, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, Child Safety Standards, and VIP Agreement where applicable.

If you do not agree, do not use Slip. If you use Slip on behalf of another person or entity, you represent that you have authority to accept these Terms for them.

2. Eligibility and Adult-Only Requirement

Slip is only for adults. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, whichever is higher. Minors may not create accounts, appear in profiles, use the service, or be the subject of sexualized, exploitative, or inappropriate content.

We may use the Google age verification framework and third-party age verification services. We may suspend or delete accounts where age cannot be verified or where we suspect underage use.

3. Accounts and Profile Accuracy

  • You must provide accurate, current, and complete account and profile information.
  • You are responsible for your login credentials and all activity under your account.
  • You may not transfer, sell, rent, share, or sublicense your account.
  • You may not create accounts using false identities, impersonate others, or misrepresent your age, location, intentions, or relationship status.
  • You may delete your account through Me - Setting - Delete Account.

4. The Slip Service

Slip helps adult users meet new people, make friends, and date nearby and worldwide. The service may include profiles, avatars, nicknames, personal pages, private messaging, chat, matching, stranger social features, location-based discovery, and VIP benefits.

Slip does not guarantee that you will find matches, meet compatible people, form relationships, or have any specific dating outcome. User identity, intentions, and offline behavior can never be guaranteed by an online service.

5. Your Profile Content and License

You retain ownership of profile information, photos, messages, and other content you provide. You grant Slip a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, transmit, moderate, translate, and otherwise use your content as needed to operate, improve, protect, and provide the service.

You represent that you have the rights needed to provide your content and that your content does not violate law, third-party rights, these Terms, or our safety policies.

Private messages are not public posts, but we may review, preserve, or disclose messages and related data where necessary for safety, moderation, legal compliance, fraud prevention, child safety, reporting, support, or enforcement.

6. Prohibited Conduct

You may not use Slip to do any of the following:

  • Harass, threaten, stalk, bully, exploit, blackmail, abuse, or intimidate any person.
  • Solicit, groom, exploit, sexualize, endanger, or contact minors.
  • Upload, request, distribute, or promote child sexual abuse material, non-consensual sexual content, or intimate images without consent.
  • Post fake profiles, impersonate another person, misrepresent your identity, or operate scams.
  • Promote hate, violence, terrorism, self-harm, illegal activity, fraud, or discrimination.
  • Share another person's private information without permission.
  • Use bots, scraping, automated account creation, reverse engineering, or unauthorized data extraction.
  • Interfere with the security, integrity, availability, or proper operation of Slip.
  • Use Slip for commercial solicitation, paid companionship, escort services, trafficking, money requests, phishing, or off-platform transactions.

7. Safety, Moderation, and Enforcement

We may use automated tools, user reports, human review, third-party safety services, and manual investigation to detect and respond to safety risks. We may remove content, restrict features, require verification, issue warnings, suspend accounts, permanently ban users, block devices, preserve evidence, or report matters to authorities.

We may act without prior notice where we believe delay could create safety, legal, security, or abuse risks. You may contact us at [email protected] if you believe an enforcement action was made in error.

8. Paid Services and VIP

Slip may offer VIP subscriptions through Google Play in-app billing. VIP terms, renewal, cancellation, refund, and pricing information are described in the Slip VIP Agreement. Google Play may also impose additional terms that apply to your purchase.

9. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and retain personal information, including account details, profile information, messages, precise GPS location, advertising ID, Kochava analytics data, age verification signals, and subscription metadata.

10. Availability and Changes

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of Slip at any time. We may update features, limits, eligibility rules, subscription benefits, or safety controls. We are not liable for service interruptions, errors, delays, or unavailability to the extent permitted by law.

11. Termination

You may stop using Slip at any time and delete your account through the app. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, create safety risks, fail age verification, misuse the service, infringe rights, or expose us or users to legal risk.

Termination does not limit our ability to retain records as described in the Privacy Policy, enforce rights, protect users, comply with law, or collect amounts owed.

12. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

Slip is provided "as is" and "as available" to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that other users will be honest, safe, compatible, or available.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Zyphorora Ltd will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, loss of profits, loss of data, personal injury caused by another user, or offline interactions between users. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

13. Governing Law, Venue, and Class Action Waiver

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, except where mandatory consumer protection, privacy, platform, or local laws provide otherwise. Subject to mandatory rights that cannot be waived, disputes relating to Slip will be handled in courts located in London, United Kingdom.

For users in the United States, including California and Texas, nothing in these Terms limits non-waivable rights under applicable U.S. federal, state, consumer protection, privacy, dating-service, or safety laws.

Class action waiver: To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, you and Zyphorora Ltd agree to bring claims only on an individual basis and not as part of a class, collective, representative, consolidated, or private attorney general action. This waiver applies only where legally enforceable and does not limit rights that cannot be waived.
