1. Who We Are

Slip is operated by Zyphorora Ltd, a company established in the United Kingdom. In this Policy, "Slip," "we," "us," and "our" refer to Zyphorora Ltd and the Slip service.

2. Age Requirement

Slip is for adults only. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, whichever is higher, to create an account or use Slip.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. Slip uses the Google age verification framework and third-party age verification services to support age assurance. If we believe a user is underage, we may restrict, suspend, or delete the account, preserve relevant safety records, and report suspected child exploitation or child sexual abuse material to NCMEC, law enforcement, or another competent authority where appropriate.

3. Information We Collect

Information you provide

  • Account information, such as login credentials, identifiers, and contact information.
  • Profile information, such as nickname, avatar, photos, gender, age or date of birth, interests, dating preferences, and other profile details you choose to provide.
  • Messages and chat content exchanged with other users, plus related metadata such as time, sender, recipient, and delivery status.
  • Support, report, appeal, and safety communications you send to us.
  • Age assurance or verification information, including verification status and related risk signals. We may use third-party verification services, but we do not list every provider in this public Policy.

Information collected automatically

  • Device and usage information, including IP address, device model, operating system, app version, language, time zone, identifiers, diagnostics, crash logs, and usage events.
  • Precise GPS location, when enabled, to help you discover nearby users and use location-based dating features.
  • Advertising ID and analytics information. Slip uses the Kochava SDK for analytics, attribution, and measurement.
  • Payment and subscription metadata from Google Play, such as product purchased, subscription period, transaction identifiers, renewal status, and cancellation status. We do not receive your full payment card details from Google Play.

Sensitive information

Dating services can involve information that may be sensitive under some laws, including precise location, age, relationship preferences, profile photos, and safety reports. We process this information to provide the service, support user safety, prevent abuse, and comply with law.

4. How We Use Information

  • Create, authenticate, maintain, and secure your account.
  • Display your profile and help other adult users discover, match with, and communicate with you.
  • Enable private messaging, matching, recommendations, and stranger social interaction features.
  • Use precise location to support nearby dating and discovery features, subject to your device permissions.
  • Process VIP subscriptions, verify subscription status, and provide paid benefits.
  • Measure app performance, analyze usage, attribute installs or campaigns, and improve Slip through analytics such as Kochava.
  • Detect, investigate, prevent, and respond to fraud, spam, harassment, impersonation, illegal activity, child safety risks, and other abuse.
  • Respond to support requests, reports, appeals, privacy requests, legal requests, and regulatory obligations.
  • Enforce our Terms, Child Safety Standards, community rules, and other policies.

5. How We Share Information

We share personal information only as described below or as otherwise permitted by law.

  • Other users: Profile information and interactions you make available in Slip may be visible to other adult users according to the app's features and settings.
  • Service providers: We may share information with hosting, analytics, attribution, age verification, safety, moderation, customer support, security, and technical service providers.
  • Kochava: We use Kochava SDK for analytics and attribution measurement, including advertising ID and usage events where permitted.
  • Google Play: Subscription purchases, renewals, cancellations, and refunds are handled through Google Play.
  • Legal and safety recipients: We may disclose information to NCMEC, law enforcement, courts, regulators, emergency services, or other competent authorities when required by law or when we believe disclosure is necessary to protect users, minors, or the public.
  • Business transfers: If we are involved in a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

We do not sell personal information for money. To the extent analytics, attribution, advertising identifiers, or similar technology is considered a "sale," "sharing," or "targeted advertising" under applicable law, you may use the rights and controls described below.

6. Legal Bases for Processing

Where UK GDPR, EU GDPR, or similar laws apply, we rely on the following legal bases:

  • Contract: To provide Slip, accounts, profiles, matching, messaging, subscriptions, and support.
  • Consent: For precise location access, certain analytics or advertising identifier uses where consent is required, and other optional processing.
  • Legitimate interests: To improve Slip, prevent abuse, keep users safe, conduct analytics, protect rights, and secure the service.
  • Legal obligation: To comply with applicable law, respond to lawful requests, process privacy rights, preserve records, and report child safety issues where required or appropriate.
  • Vital interests: To protect a user's or another person's life, safety, or welfare in urgent situations.

7. Your Privacy Rights and Choices

Depending on where you live, including the United Kingdom, the United States, California, Texas, and other jurisdictions, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, port, or restrict certain personal information; object to or opt out of certain processing; withdraw consent; and appeal a decision about your request.

  • Account deletion: You may delete your account in the app through Me - Setting - Delete Account.
  • Location controls: You can disable location access in your Android device settings. Some nearby dating features may stop working.
  • Advertising ID controls: You can reset or limit use of your Android advertising ID through device settings where available.
  • California rights: California residents may request access, deletion, correction, portability, and information about disclosures. They may also opt out of sale or sharing and limit certain sensitive information uses where applicable.
  • Texas rights: Texas residents may request access, deletion, correction, portability, and opt out of targeted advertising, sale of personal data, and certain profiling where applicable. They may also appeal our response.

To make a privacy request, email [email protected]. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling the request. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your lawful privacy rights.

8. Retention and Deletion

After account deletion, we generally retain personal information for up to 90 days, unless a longer period is required or permitted for legal compliance, safety, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, accounting, backups, or enforcement of our agreements.

We may retain safety, moderation, child-safety, payment, fraud, and legal records for longer where necessary to protect users, prevent repeat abuse, comply with law, or establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.

9. International Transfers

Slip is offered globally, with the United States as a primary market, and is operated by a UK company. Your information may be processed in the United Kingdom, the United States, and other countries where we or our service providers operate. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards such as contractual protections or other lawful transfer mechanisms.

10. Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information, including access controls, monitoring, security review, and reasonable safeguards for account and service data. No online service can guarantee absolute security, so you should use strong credentials and keep your account information confidential.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. If changes are material, we will provide notice through the app, website, email, or another reasonable method. The updated version will be effective on the date stated above unless a later effective date is provided.
